Baking with a Purpose with Pucho and Pals
Very Important Purpose (VIP) partnered with Pucho and Pals, an after-school organization serving adults with special needs, to host a heartwarming Baking with a Purpose activity. Volunteers and participants came together to bake, decorate, and enjoy cupcakes in a fun, hands-on experience designed to spark creativity and connection.
Side by side, guests and volunteers mixed batter, decorated with colorful frosting and sprinkles, and shared laughter throughout the afternoon. Everyone proudly took home cupcakes they helped make — a sweet reminder of the joy that comes from working together.
More than just baking, Baking with a Purpose was about building friendships, fostering inclusion, and celebrating the simple joys of creating something together. The event highlighted VIP’s mission to create meaningful opportunities where individuals of all abilities can connect and thrive.
