We are excited to extend an invitation to you for a profoundly meaningful event that embodies compassion and community outreach. The Very Important Purpose organization will be hosting a Sandwich & Halloween Themed Treats Donation Event on Wednesday, October 25th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 9134 SW 21st Terrace, Miami, FL 33165.
In collaboration with our dedicated volunteers, we aspire to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate in our community by providing them with a special Halloween treat. The objective of this event is to prepare lunch bags containing sandwiches with a Halloween treat, snack and a refreshing bottled water. These lunch bags will serve as a special meal for the individuals supported by Saint Agatha Church: Hope for the Homeless. As we gather to make a meaningful impact and spread a little Halloween cheer, we invite you to bring forth your creative ideas for future service events during the school year.
Requirements for Participation: To ensure the success of this event, we kindly request each volunteer to provide the following items:
- 1 bag of sandwich bread
- 12 slices of American Cheese
- 12 slices of Bologna
- 12 LARGE Ziploc bags for packaging the sandwich, snacks, and drink
- Halloween Themed Cookies or Bag of Candy
- Gloves
The drinks will be provided by the Very Important Purpose team.
For those unable to get Ham and Cheese sandwich ingredients, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are an option. However, we aim to minimize peanut butter and jelly sandwiches due to peanut allergies.
Participating volunteers will be rewarded with 3 service hours for their generous contributions.
