Very Important Purpose’s Halloween Event: Trunk or Treat and Haunted House Experience

We are thrilled to announce VIP’s 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat, featuring our very first Haunted House Experience! This exciting event is not only about celebrating Halloween but also about spreading joy and inclusivity. We will be inviting organizations working with children with special needs, developmental disorders, hospitalized children, low-income families, as well as all their families to join us on Saturday, October 28th.
Event Highlights:
- Trunk or Treat Experience: Get ready to be wowed by creatively decorated vehicles loaded with goodies! Our volunteers will be on hand to ensure everyone has a blast.
- Haunted House: Designed to provide a unique and fun experience for all ages. A blend of excitement, adventure, and a touch of spookiness to make your visit truly memorable
- Halloween Themed Activities: We have a lineup of fun activities, from Halloween arts & crafts to costume contests, to keep the Halloween spirit alive.
- Community Service Opportunities for Volunteers: We are offering two unique ways for volunteers to be part of this fantastic event. Select only one of the opportunities.
- Trunk or Treat: Arrive between 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM and stay until 4:00 PM. Decorate your vehicle in a theme of your choice and bring candy to distribute to our special guests. Up to 4 volunteers can participate together, and you’ll earn 6 direct community service hours. The cost to participate is $40, which can be split among your group.
- Volunteer Event Support: Volunteer during the event, assisting with various tasks, including car decoration, helping VIP staff, and ensuring our Halloween-themed activities run smoothly. Arrive at 12:00 PM and stay until 4:00 PM, earning 4 direct community service hours. The cost to participate is $15.
Why the Fees?: The fees associated with volunteering will support the successful execution of our event. They will contribute to creating a memorable haunted house experience, provide decorations, and ensure we have food, snacks, and beverages for our guests and volunteers.
Halloween Spirit: While dressing up is not mandatory, we encourage all our volunteers to embrace the Halloween spirit. Whether you choose an over the top costume, a simple one, or simply wear an orange shirt, we want you to share in the excitement and feel the Halloween Spirit as well!
